This season has seen a fruit dominated catwalk. Stella McCartney’s S/S11 show-stopping pieces came in vivid citrus prints; Miuccia Prada dressed her girls in banana print shirts, skirts, nails and earrings; Dolce & Gabbana’s limited collection featured a smattering of cherries; and Miu Miu offered up a repeated apple pattern across dresses, skirts, and trousers with belt buckles and earrings featuring the pomaceous fruit. This week, the Most Loved product chosen by AnOther's digital marketing coordinator and this or that? founder Mélanie Crété was a Hermès Apple Holder. They say “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” and what better way to keep healthy whilst remaining on trend with this latest accessory from Hermès? Made out of green lambskin with no visible stitching, the holder is lined with a stainless palladium shell crafted by Puiforcat. The strap is also equipped with a knife holder and horn handle knife so that one can slice their apple into edible chunks. Here we speak Crété about how she'd wear her Hermès Apple Holder and what her favourite variety of apple is.
