Based in Paris, Tillmann Lauterbach is celebrated for his modern, elegant yet relaxed designs. He has an artisanal approach to design, working with a team from his atelier and sourcing the finest fabrics from mainly family-run manufacturers. His spring/summer 2013 collection was inspired by Andy Warhol's trip to China in the 1980s, and the results are clothes with a new take on New York post-punk dress code, that at once engage with a classic Chinese wardrobe of straight lines, clean shapes and innovative sewing techniques.
