Sons of an Illustrious Father have garnered a lot of attention over their six year existence. Having undergone a few changes, the current line up features three talented multi-instrumentalists, Josh Laubin, Lilah Larson and Ezra Miller, the latter of whom struck a charismatic pose in Louis Vuitton on the cover of Another Man 17.
Struck by their sound and charisma, Another Man commissioned Robert Nethery to film an exclusive video for the band's single Very Few Dancers, which was shot in New York earlier this year; the director trailing the trio as they hung out in Lilah's Brooklyn apartment, before strolling in the sunshine to Arlene's Grocery for a gig. Laidback, beautiful and filled with moments of insight and humour, the film's bleached out monochrome serves as the perfect foil for the vibrant chanting harmonies and effervescent guitars that speak to the last days of summer in the city.
