A new week, another brilliant Instagram account for your delectation. This one comes courtesy of Julie Lee, who began creating food collages on Instagram to "showcase seasonal and local offerings from neighbourhood farmers markets." Now with over 120K followers, @julieskitchen has taken on a life of its own, proving the perfect arena for Lee to expand upon her "study of plant design, exploration of colour theory, and pure, unadulterated food-love." She frequently jokes that she simply enjoys playing with her food, but Lee's deftly created, beautifully arranged photographs are mini masterpieces that cleverly exploit the diversity of nature's multi-coloured, intriguingly shaped offerings; they have even been featured in an iPhone advert.
