What Went Down at Marina Abramović’s AnOther Magazine Giveaway

On the evening of Tuesday 17 October, print lovers and Marina Abramović fans united as 30 winners of our giveaway competition made the pilgrimage to magCulture’s Clerkenwell headquarters to collect their signed copies of the artist’s AnOther Magazine cover.

There, as copies of the new Autumn/Winter 2023 issue were displayed in the shop windows during Frieze week, our winners met the creative minds behind the issue, which included the photographer of the magazine cover, Jordan Hemingway (who arrived with his partner FKA Twigs), along with members of the editorial team. 

From 5pm until 7pm, winners were welcomed with beer and wine in the magCulture store, which stocks a diverse array of titles. Each winner took home their own copy of the limited edition, pre-signed AnOther Magazine issue; a special issue that celebrates the astonishing life of Abramović and commemorates her achievement as the first female artist to host a solo show in the Royal Academy’s main galleries.
