What Does Escapist Glamour Look Like in a Post-Internet Age?

Drawing on nostalgia-inducing fashion stories and digital interfaces, Roe Ethridge and Katie Shillingford capture the season's key collections for AnOther Magazine A/W17

The Autumn/Winter 2017 season teemed with archival references, with designers reaching into both their own archives and those of their predecessors. But how to present an age-old penchant for the silhouette, the coat, or the suit of the season in a digitally digestible age? Pooling backdrops from the models’ Instagram feeds, Katie Shillingford and Roe Ethridge transplant exotic glamour to the land of the hyper-real.
