The Belgian designer will be signing copies of AnOther Magazine A/W19 at OFR bookshop in Paris

Last week we launched the Autumn/Winter 2019 ‘Hardcore Romance’ issue of AnOther Magazine. Among the issue’s six cover stories – featuring screen angels Indya Moore and Naomi Scott, and fashion gods Jonathan Anderson and Rick Owens – is an interview with the inimitable Raf Simons, presented alongside a series of Willy Vanderperre-shot images of current and archive pieces from Simons’ eponymous label. To celebrate the launch of the issue, Simons will be signing copies of the magazine in Paris on September 29.

Fans of Simons are invited to meet the Belgian designer at Paris’ OFR bookshop on the day of the signing. “What gives me enormous satisfaction is that we have an incredible following from a young crowd,” he tells Alexander Fury in the issue. “I don’t know if it is because I understand them or because they understand me. I have always thought – and will never change my mind – that children and kids, youth, are our future. That’s by definition the case, so that’s also why it’s important to pay attention. Whatever we think, it’s important to pay attention.”

The accompanying shoot sees Raf Simons pieces captured on and by the designer’s longtime collaborators or ‘fashion family’: photographed by Vanderperre, styled by Olivier Rizzo, featuring models such as Julia NobisKiki Willems and Jonas Glöer. See the full shoot in the gallery below, and head to OFR in Paris on September 29 to get your copy of AnOther Magazine A/W19 signed.

Raf Simons will be signing copies of AnOther Magazine A/W19 at OFR, Paris, on September 29, 2019, from 4.30pm – 6.30pm.
