Featuring works by Kēizo Kitajima, Ryu Ika and Daisuke Yokota, photographs adorn the store’s courtyard and cellar

The Spring/Winter 2025 issue of Another Man, released last month, features work by three seminal Japanese photographers: Kēizo KitajimaRyu Ika and Daisuke Yokota. Their pictures took inspiration from Rei Kawakubo’s Spring/Summer 2025 Comme des Garçons Homme Plus collection and the brand’s original Eau de Parfum fragrance, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

To celebrate this project, Another Man combined forces with BeGood, the creative studio founded by Another Man’s art director Lina Kutsovskaya, on an exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris, where images by Kitajima, Ryu and Yokota were installed in the courtyard and cellar (the latter of which was acheived with the help from award-winning colour grading and finishing studio for film, print and digital Studio RM).

The opening of the exhibition was celebrated this Friday (November 8), where guests were treated to drinks from Krone and Tico Tequila. Guests included people from the Another Man, BeGood and Dover Street Market Paris communities, including Another Man’s editor-in-chief Ellie Grace Cumming, the magazine’s art director and BeGood’s founder Lina Kutsovskaya and Comme des Garçons’ president Adrian Joffe, Michèle Lamy, Carla Sozzani, Diane Pernet, and artist Pandemonia.

Those present also included photographers Senta Simond, Lúa Ribera, Clémentine Schneidermann, Pieter Hugo, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, Carlijn Jacobs, Erik Gustafsson, Gwen Trannoy, Ryu Ika, Camille Vivier, Andrea Spotorno, Thue Nørgaard, Kingsley Ifill, Gareth McConnell. Art directors Jonny Lu and Arthur Davison Sharpe were also in attendance, along with movement directors Ryan Chappell and Jordan Robson, jewellery designer Marco Panconesi, stylist Imruh Asha, model Leon Dame, PR Consulting CEO Nathalie Ours, Concrete founder Georg Rulffes, Aperture editor Michael Famighetti, SAWW magazine’s Tuomas Laitinen and Chris Vidal, and Komiyama Tokyo owner Keita Komiyama.

The following day (November 9), Frank Lebon, who also contributed to the issue, signed copies of a zine featuring images from his shoot. This zine was also included in special, limited edition and hand-numbered versions of the magazine on sale at the event.
