Featuring work by Cindy Sherman, Jet Swan and Jamie Hawkesworth, the sale raises funds for MAP, a charity distributing medical supplies, aid and food inside Gaza
Launched earlier this week, Pictures for Palestine has brought together an international group of 150 artists who are selling their prints for £100 each to aid in the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The sale is raising funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) – a charity that predating the initial attack for those living under occupation and was first on the ground as the military assault began. It remain one of the few remaining organisations still working, distributing medical supplies, aid and food inside Gaza as the humanitarian situation worsens.
Previously, the group behind Pictures for Palestine fundraised over half a million pounds for those who were affected by the economic and social crisis as a consequence of the Covid-19 health emergency.
