After seven years in the planning, tomorrow finally sees the official start of London 2012, with the Opening Ceremony taking place. To celebrate the once in a lifetime event, the AnOther team share their thoughts on what they are looking forward to and what personal sporting activities it will inspire...
Nancy Waters, editor of AnOther Magazine: "I'm really looking forward to hearing bells ringing out across the country to celebrate the opening ceremony tomorrow morning. The artist Martin Creed has asked everyone in the UK to ring a bell at 8.12am for three minutes. Big Ben, hundreds of churches in little villages around the country, and Londoners commuting to work ringing their bicycle bells in unison – if it works it could be a really lovely moment.
Ben Cobb, editor of Another Man: "Studying the snatch and grab techniques in the weightlifting competition."

Sofia De Romarate, senior fashion editor: "I'm looking forward to taking my children to see the athletics. Experiencing something so big when you're so little must be incredible."
Laura Bradley, commissioning editor of AnOthermag.com: "Watching Jamaica's Usain Bolt run the 100m and 200m. His actions to the crowd pre and post race are always brilliant. I'm also going to be wearing my New Balance trainers a lot and hopefully playing lots of table tennis in the sun."
Agata Belcen, fashion editor: "I'm looking forward to the unexpected. I haven't had a chance to imagine what the next few weeks will be like so am excited to experience it as it unveils."
Hannah Lack, literary editor of AnOther Magazine: "Hot Chip's soundtrack for the table tennis."
"I'm looking forward to taking my children to see the athletics. Experiencing something so big when you're so little must be incredible" – Sofia De Romarate
Zoe Maughan, photographic editor: "Male athletes in lycra, the opening ceremony, and the tennis which is my favourite sport to play."
Bryan McMahon, senior fashion editor of Another Man: "I have tickets for the women's gymnastics final – I can't wait."
Nell Kalonji, deputy fashion editor of AnOther Magazine:"I am of course really excited about the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony ( SPICE GIRLS!) ... but also about my taekwondo final tickets a friend managed to get. I am going to spend the next week learning all the rules."
Tish Wrigley, editorial assistant: "This London Olympics, I'll be mostly scouring the crowd to try and see my mother - she's volunteering in the stadium, decked from head to toe in Team GB Stella McCartney."
Mhairi Graham, fashion coordinator: "The Olympic walking always makes me smile. Otherwise, sychronised swimming and the 4,400 floral bouquets that will be presented throughout the games."
