An end of summer celebration with McQueens florist
Last week, AnOther partnered with McQueens to celebrate Stefan Heinrichs' Modern Cultural Curators film, featuring founder Kally Ellis, and the launch of the celebrated florist's new website.
The Old Street headquarters was transformed by the McQueens team, featuring delicate hanging lilies in the front windows and a banquet table with floating candles and white roses. Guests at the event were able to explore the two-storey space, which encompasses a school room for the prestigious McQueens Flower School and a breathtaking glass store housing every kind of vase one can imagine.
Founded in 1991, Ellis had one aim in mind: “I wanted to sell simple, stylish flowers, beautifully presented, to the London market. And I knew people would love it.” Now the brand has a shop in Claridges and works on creations for clients including Claridges, Mullberry and the Oscars.
