AnOther Magazine and Equipment threw an intimate back-to-our-place style dinner on Tuesday evening to celebrate our shiny new issue, featuring cover star Björk. Milk Studio’s penthouse was transformed into a gorgeous 20s style living room for the occasion with the help of interior designer extraordinaire Ryan Korban. Hosts Jefferson Hack and Serge Azria of Equipment were joined by AnOther friends and family including Adam Kimmel, Alice Temperley, Andre Balazs, Craig McDean, Daphne Guinness, Glenn O'Brien, Irina Lazareanu, Larry Clark, Leelee Sobieski, Lily Donaldson, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Ryan McGinley, Terence Koh, Waris Ahluwalia and Zac Posen, to name a few. Everyone lounged contentedly amongst Ryan’s opulent selection of handpicked antique furniture and animal skin rugs, enjoying a fine taster diner by Kenmare and fresh fruit cocktails by Belvedere into the warm New York night. Those still standing headed to the Dazed & Confused after party at legendary dive bar Don Hills, with the kind support of Joie and Deleon Tequila. Surprise guests the Yeah Yeah Yeahs thrilled the crowd as Karen O, wild eyed and dressed in a gas mask, squirted whipped cream on to her hair and worked the crowd into an utter frenzy. Charlotte Ronson, Kelly Osbourne, Juliette Lewis, Ryan McGinley, Lily Donaldson, Spike Jonze and Liberty Ross braved the crowd-surfing mosh pit and DJs the MisShapes, The Rapture, Mike Nouveau, and Brett Stabler all spun their finest tracks.
