Who? Miu Miu
What? The opening of their new two-floor flagship store on New Bond Street.
Why? The sister label to the fashion powerhouse Prada has been producing eclectic, chic collections since its launch in 1992. Definitely the younger, more fun and girly sibling, Miu Miu’s bright colours and quirky detailing have secured the label a high fashion following. After the success of their new stores earlier this year in Melbourne, Singapore, Cannes and Shangha, this week sees Miu Miu replace the store already located on New Bond Street with a new flagship. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, it will offer a ground floor dedicated to accessories, and on the first floor the latest in ready-to-wear, with resort featuring heavily when the store opens. Exclusive to the flagship this December, there will be a six-piece range of limited edition luxury bags on sale in lavish leathers, fake fur, snake skin and studs. Where? Miu Miu, 150 New Bond Street, London opens on 4 December.
