Hair and make up is as fundamental to a show as dresses and shoes, creating the aura of sleek automatons, as at Rodarte and Christopher Kane, pared back Edie Sedgwick at Marc Jacobs and fairytale punk at Fashion East and Meadham Kirchhoff. This season, photographers Barbara Anastacio and Kirill Kuletski went backstage in New York and London to capture the moments of transformation for AnOther.
