In an issue celebrating the unconventional icon, Another Man presents a figurehead of popular culture, David Beckham
David Beckham: pop icon, sporting hero, family man and perhaps the ultimate male role model, this season he stars on the cover of Another Man's 19th issue. Together, photographer Collier Schorr and Another Man’s creative director Alister Mackie present an intimate portrayal of the global superstar, while in the accompanying interview, Tim Blanks goes in search of the man behind the megabrand.
Inside the issue, Kate Moss opens up in ‘Confessions of an Icon’, an exclusive extract from the forthcoming Another Man book; video artist Chris Cunningham prepares to unleash a game-changing technology on the world; the wild woman of rock’n’roll Jennifer Herrema is photographed by David Sims and styled by Katy England; and Instagram collage sensation Doug Abraham is let loose on the Autumn/Winter 2014 collections.
Elsewhere, indie cinema’s secret weapon Boyd Holbrook stars in a Gucci Spring/Summer 2015 preview, shot by David Armstrong and styled by Alister Mackie; Dior Homme’s creative director Kris Van Assche presents a special shoot by Paolo Roversi; and Welsh actor and director Craig Roberts is photographed by Vincent van de Wijingaard and styled by Another Man’s fashion director Mattias Karlsson.
Plus: ‘An Impossible Conversation’ between Serge Gainsbourg and Withnail; Sofia Coppola, Bobby Gillespie, Courtney Love and Terry Richardson celebrate 30 years of cult Japanese brand HYSTERIC GLAMOUR; and Renaissance man Michelangelo's shopping list.
