Our Guest Lover Kate Moss, star of AnOther's 3D fashion film KM3D-1, will be choosing an inspirational product and posting it to the AnOther Loves stream every day for two weeks starting today. For her first AnOther Love Kate selected the novel Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. A finalist in the 1989 Nation Book Awards, Geek Love is a wild tale of freaks, geeks and other aberrancies of the human condition who travel together as a (dysfunctional) family circus. The story is told in first-person by Olympia Binewski – a hunchbacked and bald albino dwarf – who with her three siblings is the result of Al and wife Crystal’s idea to breed a freak show using various drugs and radioactive materials after their business fails. Bizarre, shocking and tragic, Dunn challenges the perceptions of what love is and what is “normal”.
