Kojey Radical and Joy Orbison Head Up Naked City Festival

The line-up for the London festival – taking place at the tail end of this summer – has just been announced

Naked City is one of London’s newest music festivals. Taking place for the second time on September 10 in the green and luscious Beckenham Place Park – situated on the southern fringes of the city – this year’s line-up has a strong focus on homegrown talent, with 80 per cent of the artists on the bill based in London.

A celebration of the melting pot of sounds which make up London’s eclectic musical scene, the forthcoming event promises a feel-good mixture of jazz, house, afro, dub and disco. Heading up the festival are alt-rap star Kojey Radical and stalwart electronic artist Joy Orbison.

Also taking to the five stages in Naked City’s grassy enclosure are rising singer-songwriters Alewya and FAUZIA; dub and reggae mainstays Don Letts; house DJs and producers Chaos In The CBD and The Blessed Madonna, plus many more.

A more relaxed and intimate answer to some of the bigger music festivals held in the city each year, Naked City is a family friendly space which also includes experiences for kids, such as immersive theatre, storytelling, face paintings, and play installations.

The park itself offers a beautiful backdrop for the day, with verdant lawns, historic buildings and an ancient protected woodland. AnOther has partnered with Naked City for this year’s iteration of the festival – an event which, the organisers say, will provide “a new vantage point to experience London.”
