Last Thursday (July 17), figures from the worlds of fashion, art and design gathered to celebrate the launch of Scenery’s second issue. Helmed by Simon B Mørch, working in collaboration with creative director Alister Mackie, art director Aiden Miller and editor Liam Hess, the magazine represents a melding of fashion and interiors, with this issue centred around the work of American artist and author Peter Schlesinger.

The event, kindly supported by Fendi, was held in design gallery Le Marb, which is located at the south end of De Beauvoir in Hackney. Guests drank champagne courtesy of RuinArt as they toasted the new issue, copies of which were laid out on white cloth-clad tables alongside vases of seasonal flowers arranged by Charlie McCormick.

Those in attendance included Bobby Gillespie, Penelope Tree, Rose Hanbury, Serena Rees, Cora Corre, Princess Julia, Chlita Collins, Jess Hallett, Deba Hekmat, Sam Gainsbury, Wolf Gillespie, Louis Ghewy, Susanne Deekan, Jamie Reid, Mario Kardana, and Janet Fischgrund, along with the magazine’s managing editors Valeria Della Valle and Modeena Brown.

Artists Isaac Benigson, Modeena Brown, Gary Card, Shawanda Corbett, Charlie Gosling, Christabel MacGreevy, Alexander Carey Morgan, and Ed Rollit were in attendance, as well as designers Aaron Esh, Bella Freud, Pam Hogg, Benjamin Husbeby, and Lauren Perrin, and models Jess Maybury, Lux Gillespie, Lili Sumner, and Wilson Oryema.

Photographers Nikolai Von Bismarck, Jebi Labembika, Brett Lloyd, Joyce Ng, Marco Torri, and William Waterworth were present, in addition to stylists Ola Ebiti, Alex Carl, Ellie Grace Cumming, and editors Emma Hope Allwood, Jo-Ann Furniss, Claire Marie Healy, Alex Kessler, Bunny Kinney, Nassia Matsa, Lucy Kumara Moore, Olivia Singer, David Uzquiza.
