Each month, AnOther's editors give their fashion recommendations. February's highlights include Björk's Biophillia tour in New York, a Paolo Roversi exhibition and the latest issue of AnOther Magazine, on sale in two weeks...
Biophilia in New York
Following its premiere at the Manchester International Festival and a sell out run in her native Iceland, February sees Björk bring her acclaimed stage show Biophilia stateside for a special ten-night residency split between the New York Hall of Science and the Roseland Ballroom. Featuring a range of unique instruments and a 24-strong, Icelandic female choir, with a backdrop of visuals generated by the Biophilia app, it is sure to be an electrifying show.
Paolo Roversi exhibition, February 3–March 31
This month, leading photographer and AnOther contributor Paolo Roversi holds his first solo show at photography gallery The Wapping Project in south London. Largely comprised of shots from the series "nudi" and "studio", the show is, in part, a record of his longterm relationship with Guinevere Van Seenus, model and muse, with whom he created a number of stunning portraits. Famous for his collaborations with fashion houses from Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto to Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior, this is a brilliant opportunity to see the stripped back work of one of the greatest photographic practitioners of our times.

Nick Knight's windows for Le Printemps, Feb 28 – March
The windows of Parisian department store Le Printemps have played host to creations by the likes of Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Anne Demeulemeester, and, for Christmas 2011, an extravaganza by Karl Lagerfeld using priceless pieces from Chanel's Métiers d'Art collections interspersed with mini Karl dolls. For spring 2012, it is the turn of SHOWStudio's Nick Knight to take the helm, and he is planning a futuristic film and image installation, featuring Daphne Guinness in an array of outfits by Paco Rabanne, Gareth Pugh, Maison Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe and Rick Owens.
VAULT Festival at the Old Vic Tunnels, February 9–29
A new festival is welcomed this February in the shape of VAULT, a three week cavalcade of theatre, film and music in South London's Old Vic Tunnels. The itinerary is frenetic and varied: Puccini's opera La bohème is reimagined as a silent disco, rock music and theatre combine to tell the story of Clytemnestra in The Furies, and chilling horror stories are resuscitated from the Hammer Horror vaults, to be regaled to the audience by unexpected celebrity guests. Other delights include comedy, cabaret and music playing long into the early hours.
Margaret Howell's MHL Shop
For those yet to discover it, Margaret Howell's new dedicated MHL shop, located in a converted warehouse on Shoreditch's Old Nichol Street, offers a beautiful collection of casual wear, typical of the design house's simple, understated aesthetic. The MHL range, already hugely popular in Japan, is inspired by the ease and authenticity of utility clothing and reimagines classic designs like the worker jacket, track pant and plimsoll, with immaculate attention to fabric and detail.
Hahn-Bin at the Elgar Room, February 19
Marrying superlative skills on the violin with extraordinary showmanship and creative flair, 24-year-old Korean Hahn-Bin is one of the most electrifying talents to emerge onto the classical music scene in recent years. Rising to prominence when he performed at the 42nd Grammy Awards, aged just 12, he has since played at the Musee de Louvre, the Last Night of the Proms and New York's Carnegie Hall. His stated influences range from Maria Callas and Vladimir Horowitz to Björk and Nick Knight, and February 19 sees him bring his Renaissance of Classical Music show to London for a one-off performance at the Elgar Room in the Royal Albert Hall.
150/15: Darcel at Colette, February 27–March 31
To celebrate 15 years of fashion, art and design at Parisian boutique Colette, Craig Redman, the creative behind egg-shaped jaded fashion-world habitué Darcel, is set to fill the site with 150 reimaginations of cult fashion icons. Ranging from the severe pewter bob of Rei Kawakubo, the yellow bicycle and long blue limbs of Bill Cunningham to Juergen Teller's definitive spiky hair, Redman captures fashion's biggest names with humour and flair.

This season they have selected 12 emerging and established designers, including Rodarte, Marios Schwab and Mary Katrantzou, to create and showcase their Swarovski-adorned designs in both New York and London.
