Jamie Hince is best known as one half of indie rock duo The Kills, alongside American singer Alison Mosshart. The band formed in 2000 and has released four studio albums to date, winning widespread acclaim for their beatbox-blues-meets-post-punk sound. Last week Hince joined a host of other luminaries – including Pam Hogg and Juergen Teller – to DJ for Dame Vivienne Westwood's solar powered OFFtheGRID party to raise money for her renewable energy charity, the Trillion fund, in partnership with Finding Infinity.
