As the year’s most party-filled month reaches its halfway mark, a proposition for dressing for the festive season from the feet up: the designers of Autumn/Winter 2018 presented an array of impactful footwear to more than see you into the new year. From the dramatic – Midnight 00 by Ada Kokosar’s PVC and tulle boots, or No 21’s bow-embellished crystal-encrusted slingbacks, are the equivalent of wrapping your foot like a present – to the practical – Gucci’s bejewelled trainers are a welcome footwear solution for the requisite Christmas day walk, while the Instagram-ubiquitous goldfish sliders (find your own on eBay) are the shoe du jour for December downtime. Here, taken from AnOther Magazine A/W18, Chris Rhodes and Chloe Grace Press present the season’s finest footwear – enough to satisfy even the most avid of shoe enthusiasts.
