Day 1: Thursday February 11
Dunhill opened up their Bourdon House exhibition, showing their most recent accessories alongside the archive pieces that inspired the collection.

LnA party at Milk Studios featured a performance from Patti Smith. Punk rock superstar dedicated Rock N Roll Nigger to the late Alexander McQueen.

– Rumour had it that Guns ‘N' Roses made an appearance at the L'uomo Vogue and John Varvatos party.

GQ Hosted its third Annual Best New Menswear in America awards at the IAC Building.

 

Day 2: Friday February 12
– The Preen by Thornton Bregazzi show focused on the brassiere as its centerpiece.

Rag & Bone showed their collection to music curated and mixed by Thom Yorke.

SEVEN NEW YORK celebrated its ten year anniversary at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

– The CFDA and the South Korean Government hosted a dinner at the New York Public Library to launch Concept Korea.

Fashion Loves Hanuk exhibition opened at the Bellhaus.

 

Day 3: Saturday February 13
Ohne Titel marked Carine Roitfeld's first New York attendance.

– Wall street inspired the collection at the Alexander Wang show at Pier 94.

Anna Wintour perused Band of Outsiders presentation before heading upstairs to Altuzarra.

Opening Ceremony threw a party for their new pop-up shop at the Ace Hotel with performances by the Dirty Projectors and Solange Knowles.

 

Day 4: Sunday February 14
– Luxe fabric and sturdy structure at Calvin Klein Men's Collection.

– The Y-3 show saw Yohji Yamamato take on a karate match with his own models.

Peter Jensen showed Muriel, his first New York collection with a performance by Nina Persson of The Cardigans.

Valentine's day party at Milk Studios had romantic photo booth and performance by Lady GaGa openers Semi Precious Weapons.

Purple dinner at Kenmare became after party at the Gramercy Park Hotel.

 

Day 5: Monday February 15
Zac Posen serenaded audience with live.

– The Halston label saw revival under direction by Marios Schwab.

– Set to Over the Rainbow, Marc Jacobs' cinematic moment spilled out onto the street when the doors opened to fashion week's second snowstorm.

Malcolm McLaren debuted his film Paris: Capital of the XX1st Century at the Swiss Institute.

Day 6: Tuesday February 16
– The beautiful Rodarte show begun with candlelit rendition of Happy Birthday, drinks at Black Market included a surprise visit by Bono.

Marc by Marc Jacobs took on army surplus.

The Blonds well attended cult runway exhibition was complete with sparkling shoes by Christian Louboutin.

– Aloha Rag launches exclusive Menswear collection with Thakoon at their New York store.

Narciso Rodriquez afterparty at The Boom Boom Room features performance by The Misshapes.

 

Day 7: Wednesday February 17
3.1 Phillip Lim imagines a world between disco and punk.

Alexandre Herchcovitch dives into the world of Soviet Legends and Crystallized Swarovksi Elements.

– Jamie Bochert walks in the Proenza Schouler show, followed soon after with a party at Kenmare.

Jeremy Scott after party takes place at Good Units, the venue at the Hudson Hotel

– The Last Magazine launches their fourth issue at Pravda

 

Day 8: Thursday February 18
– The first of three Ralph Lauren shows starts bright and early at Skylight Studios.

– Calvin Klein shows sleek and fast pieces designed by Francisco Costa.

– Nordstrom and Vogue host cocktail reception for Quicktake: Rodarte at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum

– New York Fashion Week closed down the tents once and for all with a party to celebrate 18 years at Bryant Park.
