The short, titled At The Post Office, is part of the brand’s new Spring/Summer 2021 campaign

This week, Gucci began unveiling its new seven-part mini-series, OUVERTURE of Something that Never Ended. The short films – which are all co-directed by Gus Van Sant and Alessandro Michele – are part of the brand’s new Spring/Summer 2021 season, with each one acting as a runway replacement during the pandemic.

There are set to be several big-name cameos throughout the series, and the latest – which premiered yesterday – focused on Harry Styles. The episode, titled At The Post Office, saw the musician have a heated phone discussion about the nature of art, while wearing denim cut-offs and a baby pink t-shirt. “It’s about finding the thing you’ve always wanted to see, or you've always wanted to listen to, that has never been made,” purrs the singer down the phone (in the clip, he is speaking to Italian art critic Achille Bonito Oliva).

The other films are set to be revealed as the week goes on, with Florence Welch and Billie Eilish, among others, set to make appearances. They will all be premiered during the brand’s online ‘Guccifest’– a digital film festival celebrating Gucci, as well as 15 other emerging designers.
