The jewellery designer has launched a new space at Harrods, where customers will receive a free bouquet of flowers
Bleue Burnham is synonymous with nature; his designs possess a bucolic kind of allure, drawing continuous inspiration from the natural world, from the beauty of flowers and the intelligence of plants to his family’s love of gardening. His pieces – which are produced as sustainably as it is possible to be done so – glitter with brightly coloured, lab-grown gems like miniature, wearable bouquets of flowers. Which is exactly what customers will receive at his new ‘Jewellery and Flower Market’ at Harrods in London.
“The market has come to life in harmony with the Bleue Burnham philosophy of uniting luxury with naturalism,” Burnham tells AnOther. “As an experiential space, it spotlights the jewellery edit through the lens of a floristry stand with a rich and vibrant selection of fresh flowers, alongside a classic wooden and glass museum-style jewellery display.”
Burnham has created an exclusive Rose Garden Signet ring – one of his most popular designs – specially for the Market, which features lab-grown sapphires in Harrods’ instantly recognisable shade of green.
Upon making a purchase, customers will be presented a free bouquet of flowers, while the first 40 will be also gifted an organic daffodil bulb package (as November is the best month to plant bulbs), consisting of rarer more playful varieties of daffodils: Martinatte, Minnow, Pheasants Eye, Tete Rosette, Rip Van Winkle & Bridle Crown. “The daffodil bulbs can be planted in any garden within grass verges, lawn edges, hedgerows, banks or in pots,” he says, “to add charm to the outside or entrance of a home, or to a potted area of the garden.”
Customers will also receive a limited edition T-shirt, featuring Burnham’s logo on the front and an excerpt from a poem titled How to Eat the Day – written by the artist JulianKnxx for the designer’s Autumn/Winter 2023 booklet – on the back.
“Our philosophy to work and vision of success is centred around lifting the natural world into a richer position within contemporary culture for a multitude of reasons, including supporting environmental health and human happiness,” says Burnham. “As result, our jewellery and everything that surrounds it is an act to unite individuals, community and beyond with naturalism.”
Bleue Burnham’s Jewellery and Flower Market is at Harrods until 7 December 2023
