For the latest update from Milan S/S13, we turn to the Senior Fashion Editor of Dazed & Confused Robbie Spencer. His highlights include armadillo shoes at Fendi, a personal update from Jil Sander herself, and Janice Alida's new look.
Shoe – The amazing metallic and plastic embellished armadillo shoes from Fendi.
Model – Yumi Lambert at IMG from Pucci, Othena at Ford, who looked amazing in her Fendi look. And Janice Alida with her new black crop, she's had a great season so far.
Hair – Missoni gelled down hat hair.
Venue – Pucci, whose show was held in the opulent 16th century Palazzo Serbelloni on Corso Venezia.
Make Up – Ter Et Bantine multi-coloured eyebrows.
Bag – Fendi multi coloured panelled leather clutch.
Sunglasses – Missoni goggles.
Detail – We were fortunate enough to have Jil Sander herself talk us through her womenswear collection, it was a real insight into her thought process behind the collection, her reasons behind returning to the brand and her ambitons for the future. I also loved the manipulation of leather and fur at Fendi – it looked so modern and fresh.
Music – DSquared was quite fun – late 80s, early 90s and Malcolm MacClaren's Deep in Vogue sounds.
