Indeed the seventies themselves saw an extraordinary array of iconic style statements emerge onto the street, taking over from the incense scented kaftans that had prevailed the decade before. Woody Allen’s Annie Hall produced Diane Keaton, the New York woman marrying masculine and feminine to sensual effect; Marie Helvin and Jerry Hall held sway on catwalks, and John Travolta’s Cuban heeled, bellbottomed turn in Saturday Night Fever has left its mark on fancy dress parties to this day. Why did you love this picture?
I love white shoes and I love Bianca Jagger.
Where would you wear these shoes, and where would you hang your band pass?
Why change something that's perfect? I would do it just like her – not sure it works as well with a Rihanna backstage pass though (not that I have one... yet!)
Bianca vs Jerry? Mick vs Keith? And why?
Bianca Bianca Bianca... how can you not love a woman who made an entrance into a club on a horse! And definitely Keith – I had a crush on him as a teenager. My mother was really worried about my taste in men for a while!
What's the best live performance you've ever seen?
My first concert ever was actually a Rolling Stones concert. There were thousands of people and the show was amazing, fire effects included. I must have been about 10 and went with my sister who was convinced she would marry Mick Jagger at some point in her life. We were stood next to this group of hardcore fans and they realised I couldn't see a thing so they took turns taking me on their shoulders for the rest of it ...pretty fun!
Bianca Jagger made her entrance into Studio 54 on a grey horse - how would you make a grand entrance?
Not sure how to top that. I would quite like to reinterpret Mrs Jagger's big entrance, maybe aboard a camel? Although it's just not as good as a horse.

What are your favourite dancing shoes?
I haven't found them yet. I should have bought the sparkly Miu Miu shoes from a couple of seasons ago – they were definitely dancing shoe material.
What are you looking forward to about February?
January being over and Spring not being far away.
What was the last thing you bought?
A black and white vintage Fendi clutch at Rellik.
