For autumn/winter 2013, Gareth Pugh looked to a Ukrainian tribe of empowered women known as the "Asgarda". Residing in the Carpathian Mountains, the tribe is comprised of 150 women of varying ages, who seek complete autonomy from men. The powerful collection, styled by AnOther's fashion director Katie Shillingford, promoted Pugh's trademark monochromatic colour palette, with flashes of blue, and feminine, golden embroidery details.
