We consider the head-centric trends that dominated London Collections: Men A/W14
TextLaura Bradley
This week saw the return of London Collections: Men for the A/W14 presentations. One of the most interesting aspects to emerge from the shows was the strong focus on heads, from hairstyles to headwear. Casely-Hayford opted for long grunge locks and dip-dyed bobs, while JW Anderson and Topman Design veered towards the 90s boy band look with centre-parted curtains. Elsewhere a medley of headwear made an appearance ranging from balaclavas (Tom Ryling, Fashion East) and skull caps (MAN) to felted cossack hats (Agi & Sam). Here, photographer Rosaline Shahnavaz has captured some of the key hair/hat looks backstage, exclusively for AnOther.
