It’s winter, dead winter, with pouring rain and umbrellas everywhere. But in Paris, the menswear shows exuded optimism for A/W14, adorning heavy knits, blazers and even slick Number 2 haircuts with splashes of colour. Dries favoured pinks and purples, Kenzo went neon and Margiela showcased subtle primary dashes on belts and jackets, while Kris Van Assche showed dirty reds both on his coats and in the colour of his models hair.
