Lucian Freud impresses his daughter and AnOther in this Loves vote winning image
How to describe Lucian Freud? Doyen of the art world, notorious philanderer, father of 14 (who he knew about), Kate Moss’ tattooist, whippet lover and the subject of the most expensive painting ever sold at auction. And capable, at 61, of a flawless headstand. Art genius and acrobat – it seems his talents had no end, as celebrated in this photograph of Lucian and his daughter Bella, which unanimously won this week’s vote for AnOther Loves contributor Sophie Wedgewood.
Freud’s explosive and often strained relationship with his children and their many mothers has been extensively documented, leaving little room for any details about his acrobatic skills. But this is not the only unique entertainment that AnOther has enjoyed this week: Thomas Edison’s 1904 film of Japanese tumblers performing gravity defying feats has been a source of much joy, while Isabella Rossellini’s performance of Green Porno is the most anticipated event of the weekend.
So, to celebrate this unique depiction of one of Britain’s most extraordinary artists, we ask Wedgewood what inspired her vote winning Love, and what trick she would employ to impress a room.

Where would you keep it if you owned it?
In my bedroom.
How do you think this moment came about?
Naturally – it's very candid which is why I like it.

My sister Rebecca.
What's your party trick?
I always wanted to do the Audery Horn cherry stalk trick but my tongue has always let me down.

What are you excited about for 2014?
Taking new photos in Cuba and Vietnam next month.
