It is only after all the chaos of fashion week has died down that one can fully take stock of the collections. Looking through backstage imagery, shot by Louise Damgaard, fashion editor Agata Belcen spotted the similarities between candid shots backstage at Rick Owens and Maison Martin Margiela, and 15th and 16th century Dutch portraiture. In particular the head pieces (at Rick Owens), the positioning of the models and the heavy, unadorned nature of clothing.
