AnOther take an exclusive behind the scenes look at Stacy Martin in the Miu Miu A/W14 campaign
Shot by Steven Meisel, Miu Miu’s A/W14 campaign features bright young thing Stacy Martin. With her feline features and dark hair, she is the ideal Warholian muse for the campaign which channels 1960’s sultry glamour, retro knits and two words that only Miuccia Prada can unite: chic nylon.
French-born Martin is most well known for her role opposite Shia LaBeouf in Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac. She gained notoriety for her cool demeanour within the racy film, and has since been confirmed to play Faye in Ben Wheatley’s upcoming High Rise. Prior to the film, she worked as a model in London, using her earnings to fund private acting classes. She is also set to star in the upcoming A/W14 issue of AnOther Magazine.
For A/W14, Miuccia Prada gave Miu Miu a pastel-tinted wash, featuring quilted nylon, transparent plastic, looped yarn and lurex brocade. She has added glamour to the windbreaker and revitalised the mini-skirt with wit and utility, as is the customary Miuccia way.
