Hair played a key role on the catwalk on day two of Milan fashion week. Ermanno Scervino gave his models sharp white, fringed bobs and at Prada model’s hair was slick and sculpted into Josephine Baker’s finger-wave. The reference to 30s jazz icons didn’t stop there – with bright banana and baroque monkey prints making a welcome presence in the Prada collection. Bold stripes featured heavily on spaghetti-strapped, ruffle dresses and skirt suits and wide-rimmed hats. The vibrant palette was made up of primary colours and an electric orange, blue and green, all set off with vivid fur boas and quirky, retro heels.
