This brilliantly bizarre short produced by Tate Modern during their Sonia Delaunay exhibition sees Caroline de Maigret fall into a dream world riddled with colour, abstraction and plenty of Delaunay quotes. Assuming the role of the legendary artist, her interpretation of her legacy incorporates the same deconstructivist sponteneity that typified Delaunay as one of the pioneers of an artistic movement of liberation – and all within the context of a wonderfully weird montage of paint falling from the sky and Maigret shaking a tambourine.
