After months of bitterly cold, dull and overcast weather, it seems everyone on AnOther Loves is yearning for springtime as the most Loved post of the week was Visual Artists partner and previous AnOther Picture Editor of four years, Mae Delaney-Reid's Outdoor/ indoor bathing. Here we discuss bathing outside, bath time rituals and "splashing out" on expensive bathtubs with California born, London-based Delaney.

Where did you find this image and what drew you to this Outdoor/indoor bathing?
I pulled it off of a blog that I love and it makes me think of old school California living. I used to know a whole bunch of hippie families who had houses like this when I was a kid.

What is your bathing regime?
I am American, so I mainly take showers preferably with good serious water pressure – not an English dripping tap – and with my favorite shampoo and conditioners, Bumble and bumble, and Aesop bath gel. I do also love a long hot bath with lovely smelling oils or salts – it makes me feel quite feminine.

Would you or have you ever taken an outdoor bath?
Yes, I have taken baths and showers outdoors and it is brilliant!  I have experienced a few outdoor showers in Indonesia which were great except for the creatures I would sometimes find creeping around and I used to stay at a house in the mountains which had a big deep bathtub out side in the woods which was also like a hot tub which was beautiful.

Would you ever consider “splashing out” on an expensive bath?
I was recently looking at a fabulous bright red bathtub which I was very interested in and enquired about the price and shipping it over to England from Europe. In the end I decided it was too full-on for my bathroom.

What’s the last thing you bought?
The last thing I bought was dinner at my new favourite restaurant Polpetto – the people behind Polpo – in Soho.

What is your favourite online shop?
I try to shop at small independent boutiques as much as possible to keep them in business and I find quite special pieces that are not mass produced. I also like to buy vintage pieces especially jewellery and accessories. So my favourite online shop is www.etsy.com/shop/highhorsevintage
