Calvin Klein Collection’s A/W11 show did not disappoint on the final day of New York fashion week. Characteristically minimal but by no means plain, Francisco Costa created a collection of beautifully textured garments: sleeveless dresses were made out of a weightless silk jacquard laser-cut into frills, coats came in a sumptuous cashmere jacquard and a duffle jacket in voluminous shearling. Interesting silhouettes and cuts overall made for a very sleek and architectural aesthetic, magically closing New York’s eight-day fashion week extravaganza.
