Today we feature Mia Wasikowska in the forth and final Behind the Pages look at our four cover stars from AnOther’s spring/summer 2011, 10th anniversary issue.
Australian-born Wasikowska, Tim Burton's magical Alice, is the star of Gus Van Sant's unorthodox new tale of young love, Restless. She was shot by David Sims and styled by Olivier Rizzo for the current issue's cover story, as well as being captured in an intimate video portrait by Mike Cunliffe. Here, twenty-one-year-old Wasikowska talks about her early years as a ballerina, her film inspirations, working with Gus Van Sant playing the part of a terminally ill sixteen-year-old, and her love of photography.
