Our New York correspondent Paul Wagenblast asks editors and A-listers what they enjoyed the most this Fashion Week.
Tim Blanks: "The Calvin Klein dinner was nice, at Fedora, which I think used to be the Elaine’s of the gay world. I liked Vera Wang, I just got the feeling nobody else did. I also enjoyed Calvin Klein Men's. And Marc by Marc Jacobs – there's a strong 40s theme this season."
Cathy Horyn: "Marc Jacobs was definitely my favourite. It had lots of energy and tons of new fashion. I love the way it was connected to couture and to the street. It gave a lot of food for thought."
Kirsten Dunst: "Patrik Ervell was my favourite. He’s a friend of mine and made me a little woman’s version of his clothes."
Hanneli Mustaparta: "I loved the cornfield prints on the silk dresses from Rodarte. I want to ask Inez and Vinoodh if they took the pictures since they were sitting front row."
Hilary Alexander: "I’ve just seen Moncler take over grand central station with 250 dancers all dressed in ski suits and dancing to everything from Tchaikovsky to a tango to tap dance, it was crazy! It was impressive and amazing, it was powerful."
Sofia Coppola: "Marc Jacobs was really cool, and a fun surprise. I thought it looked chic and futuristic!"
Hamish Bowles: "I loved the three sisters with Maggie Gyllenhaal on Friday night."
Taylor Tomasi Hill: It’s really difficult because it’s been such an amazing season. I really enjoyed Louise Goldin, her collection was extremely cohesive this season."
Anna Della Russo: "Marc Jacobs. No parties for me, I'm not a party girl."
Tommy Ton: Proenza Schouler. I spent Valentine's Day at the studio – it made me feel like I wanted to be a girl and wear all of the clothes. Lazaro [Hernandez] told me it was their most technically challenging collection so far."
Cecilia Dean: "I really enjoyed a performance I was hosting, for the amazing American Korean punk violinist Hahn-Bin. It was fantastic and inspirational."
