Dunhill's autumn/winter 2011 inspiration: "The collection’s ambition is quite simple – to put British menswear back at the forefront of men’s luxury, creating beautiful and luxurious contemporary clothing that has a timeless elegance. One of the sources of inspiration for this collection for instance was the Mallory and Irvine Everest attempt in 1924. Deep research went into construction, ensuring the clothes are made properly, how they would have been back then. We’re focussed on a contemporary aesthetic combined with time honoured craftsmanship and expertise."
