Over the past 12 months in Women's Fashion, AnOther Website covered the record breaking fashion exhibition, Savage Beauty, with an interview with its curator; explored the enduring appeal of the thick brow; celebrated a number of brilliant accessories and acknowledged the standout style of Jackie O and queen of bohemian chic Talitha Getty. Here, we look back at our top ten highlights...
1) The much anticipated Alexander McQueen retrospective, Savage Beauty, opened at the MET in May, the first of its kind to be held in the wake of the fashion visionary’s untimely death. To mark the event, AnOther interviewed the show's curator Andrew Bolton who provided fascinating insight into its realisation, explaining how the initial examination of McQueen’s engagement with romanticism gave birth to the final thematic structure. Susannah Frankel also spoke about her friendship with the late designer here.
2) In July, AnOther's Fashion in Pictures column took us inside the newly decorated rooms of Parisian hotel La Maison Champs Elysée's. The transformation was undertaken by Belgian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela who brought to the task their distinctive brand of cerebral satisfaction.
3) Inspired by Mia Wasikowska's perfect thick, darkened eyebrows on the cover of AnOther Magazine's spring/summer 2011 cover, commissioning editor Laura Bradley selected her favourite propagators of the thick brow look.
4) Jackie O's pristine, effortless style was unpicked by our Vintage Style columnist Laura Havlin, who explored the First Lady's expert sartorial mixing-and-matching and her eye for fine artisanal craftsmanship.

5) In celebration of the September release of Chanel's new bag, the Chanel Boy, AnOther invited London-based illustrator Ellie Tzoni to reinterpret it for our Object of Desire column. Tzoni's clean, graphical, no-frills approach was perfectly suited to the androgynous nature of the bag, which was based on a hunting cartridge bag sported by Chanel herself.
6) On September 14, AnOther exclusively premiered the Yves Saint Laurent A/W collection fashion film, featuring Raquel Zimmermann and directed by Inez and Vinoodh. Set against the backdrop of a Manhattan high-rise window, 14 new looks were presented in a sleek and sexy story that played on the dynamic between Paris and New York’s idiosyncratic energies.
7) To coincide with the May launch of Prada's two latest Minimal-Baroque sunglasses, renowned patron Miuccia Prada commissioned eight photographers to interpret the exuberant, swirling frames in a pop-comic manner.
8) Marc Jacobs' A/W11 polka dot accessories were our longed for Objects of Desire in May and we asked artist Rosha Nutt to reimagine the collection's gloves, bags and Stephen Jones vinyl berets in her eye-catching (and aptly) polk dot screen-printing method.
9) June was a month of exciting activity, as reflected in AnOther's Fashion List. It marked the official start of summer and the opening date of Björk's highly-anticipated UK Biophilia tour. Read about how she was inspired by David Attenborough's nature documentaries here.
10) January's Vintage Style explored the widely influential, bohemian style of Talitha Getty, the actress and socialite whose visually rich clothing and handmade jewellery were the products of her global travelling and residence in Morocco.
