The Paris event was to celebrate the launch of the new issue
To celebrate the Spring/Summer 2022 ‘Maverick’ issue of AnOther Magazine, specifically the Alaïa cover photographed by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, we hosted a cocktail party in Paris last week with the Maison.
Guests included members of the AnOther Magazine team, including editor-in-chief Susannah Frankel, fashion director (women’s) Katie Shillingford, creative director Marc Ascoli, and fashion features director Alexander Fury, who interviewed Alaïa’s freshly installed creative director Pieter Mulier for the issue. Dazed Media’s co-founder Jefferson Hack was also in attendance, along with Mulier himself.
Other guests included figures from across the fashion and art worlds, including jeweller Gaia Repossi, filmmaker Farida Khelfa, model Jean Campbell, photographer Louie Banks, choreographer Jordan Robson, model Anna Cleveland, and sound artist Frédéric Sanchez.
Stylist Camille Biddault-Waddington was also present, along with designers Alex de Betak and Martine Sitbon, casting director Ben Grimes, model Leon Dame, photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti, and sound director Michel Gaubert.
Photographers Joshua Woods and Luis Alberto Rodriguez, who photographed Willem Dafoe and an editorial with Robbie Spencer for the new issue, respectively, were also in attendance.
Staged at the maison’s boutique on Rue de Moussy, the event was soundtracked by DJ sets from Crystallmess and Paul Hameline.
